ACSM Exercise Physiologist | CrossFit Level 1 Trainer | Precision Nutrition Coach
Erin is a health and movement educator who believes strength is more than physical ability; It's about feeling at home in your body. With over a decade of experience, she helps clients build the kind of strength that shows up in everyday life.
She holds a Master's in Teaching and Learning and a Bachelor's in Kinesiology and is certified as an ACSM Exercise Physiologist, CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, Precision Nutrition Coach, and 500-hour yoga instructor. She has also completed CrossFit Gymnastics, Burgener Weightlifting Level 1, and OPEX coaching courses.
In addition to coaching, Erin teaches anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Her coaching is rooted in functional movement, science-based education, and a deep respect for each person's lived experience. Erin's goal is to help people feel strong, capable, and connected to their bodies, no matter where they are starting from.

Wayne has been a part of the Southside Strength and Fitness community since childhood, starting with his early days in the children's playroom back when it was Polaris. As one of the first employees and members under Hal & Marvel, Wayne has evolved alongside the gym, growing both personally and professionally. His journey began with powerlifting and competing in his first meets, then expanded to Olympic lifting and CrossFit, which included getting fit for the military at 19.
Today, Wayne is a hybrid athlete focused on meticulous training programs for marathon preparation while building core strength and longevity through the 8 Core Movement Patterns: squat, hinge, horizontal push & pull, vertical push & pull, unilateral, and transitional movements.
