for the february Bench Press challenge

ready to test your strength?

Join us for the Bench Press Challenge at Southside! This event is open to all members throughout the month and is a test of strength to see how many reps you can complete.:

Rules:

  • You get as many attempts as you want throughout the month, but only get to compete in one division

  • you must have a witness

  • you must submit a video to the gym

  • you must weigh yourself before your attempt

  • no sleeves

  • reps must be to full lockout

  • must be on a barbell, not other types of bars

    Four Divisions:

  • Mens

    • Bodyweight

    • 1.5x bodyweight

  • Women

    • 1/2 Bodyweight

    • Bodyweight

Awards:

A free month membership will be awarded to the first-place winner in each category, totaling four winners. Winners will be announced in early March!
