ready to test your strength?

Join us for the September Squat Challenge at Southside! This event is open to all members throughout the month and is a test of strength to see how many reps you can complete.:

Rules:

  • You get as many attempts as you want throughout the month, but only get to compete in one division

  • you must have a witness

  • you must submit a video to the gym

  • you must weigh yourself before your attempt

  • Knee Sleeves and Belts are allowed

  • reps must hit at or below 90 degrees at the bottom and full extension at the top

  • must be on a barbell, not other types of bars

    Four Divisions:

  • Mens or Womens

  • Bodyweight

  • 1.5x your bodyweight (Women)

  • 2x your bodyweight (Men)

Awards:

Free month membership, and some Southside swag will be awarded to the first-place winner in each category, totaling four winners. Winners will be announced in early October!

Challenge yourself, chase a PR, or just come and have fun with the community.
